Our story

Twenty-three years. One mission.

Texas OnSite CPR was founded by Thomas McMillan in 2003 with a simple frustration: the old way of training β€” sending people across town one at a time β€” was wasteful and didn't reflect how teams actually need to learn this. So we packed the manikins, the AEDs, and the curriculum into the truck, and we drove. We've been driving ever since.

Where we've been

A few inflection points.

2003

Tom rolls out.

Thomas McMillan starts Texas OnSite CPR with a Suburban full of manikins and a phone number β€” (817) 992-0585. Same number twenty-three years later.

2008

FAA & DFW Airport sign on.

Aviation requires the highest training rigor. They picked us. We've been training their teams ever since.

2014

Three permanent venues open.

Fort Worth, Denton, and Frisco β€” clean, easy-parking hotel conference rooms β€” for individuals who can't host a class onsite.

2019

Spanish-language certification added.

Same curriculum, native instruction. Now a meaningful share of our hospitality and construction roster.

2022

9,546 students in one year.

Our biggest year β€” roughly one DFW worker certified every 55 minutes of business hours.

2026

Still picking up the phone.

Same number. Same mission. New cards every two years.

that matter.

CPR certifications mean nothing if the issuing authority doesn't carry weight with OSHA, your insurer, and your professional licensing board. Ours do.

Founder & lead instructor.

Texas OnSite CPR runs on Tom's number β€” the same one since 2003. Text or call; a real instructor answers.
